Welcome to the Nidec Motor Corporation (NMC) Supplier Portal!

The NMC Supplier Portal is a web-based application that provides our suppliers with customized access to NMC content and applications. By logging in, suppliers gain access to the documents and applications they need to conduct business with NMC.

The following are available applications for suppliers:

• SUPPLIER SCORECARD

  The Supplier Scorecard tool allows suppliers to view and export their monthly performance in areas of Delivery, Quality and Responsiveness at each NMC manufacturing facility. The tool also documents several key metrics and utilizes performance indicators – green, yellow & red such that areas where improvement is needed are easily identified.

• BARCODE GENERATOR

  To assist suppliers who may be incapable of producing labels internally, NMC has deployed a web-based barcode generator tool that will allow suppliers to print compliant labels on-line. After logging into the supplier portal, suppliers can select from their open purchase orders, and enter some basic information to generate a label that can be printed on any standard printer.

• CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN / USMCA

  A web electronic process is used to collect supplier information and to create country of origin certificates, hosted by DataServ. The web certification form will model the CPB form 434, North American Free Trade Agreement Certificate of Origin and non- NAFTA certification as well. All certificates of origin will be completed via the NMC Supplier Portal website. No other forms or submissions will be accepted.

• SUPPLIER CORRECTIVE ACTION REPORT

  Supplier Corrective Action Report (SCAR) Database serves as a repository of all quality defects reported by each NMC plant. NMC uses the Supplier Corrective Action Report form to communicate the occurrence of non-conforming product and to solicit corrective and preventative actions.

• ORACLE-ISUPPLIER PORTAL/E-KANBAN

  Oracle iSupplier Portal is an Oracle web standard version for suppliers. This gives suppliers views of the entire Procure-to-Pay cycle. It enables suppliers to have real-time access to information such as Purchase Order, Invoice Status and Payment Details and respond to NMC with order acknowledgments. e-Kanban application allows suppliers to have immediate, real-time tracking and visual management of inventory and ability to interact with e-kanban dashboard by moving their own cards.
